Jerome B. Carr, Ph.D.
President and Technical DirectorAs an Environmental Scientist & Certified Professional Hydrologist, Dr. Carr has over 35 years of experience in environmental analyses in University, Government, and Industry. He has a B.S. in Professional Geology, an M.S. in Geophysics, and a Ph.D. in Geology, major topic Physical Oceanography, with 40% of his post-master's course work in Environmental Engineering. Dr. Carr has worked with civil, electrical, mechanical, and systems engineers; and his consulting services have saved client companies hundreds of thousands of dollars. Dr. Carrs extensive field experience means that land he investigates is properly evaluated for land use constraints. Dr. Carr has substantial experience in court as an expert witness. Dr. Carr is widely experienced in public education and information programs. He taught Geology and Oceanography at Purdue University and has taught Environmental Science courses at Boston College. Dr. Carr has over 50 publications, several of which have been translated into foreign languages. Dr. Carr is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, American Geophysical Union, American Institute of Hydrology, Aquatic Plant Management Society, International Peat Society, North American Lake Management Society, Society for Mining, the Association of Massachusetts Wetland Scientists, the Ecological Society of America, and the Society for Ecological Restoration. Dr. Carr is listed in American Men of Science.
